4.  Annual meritorious student prize distribution ceremony:  Late Vasant Krishnaji Panse, an active Secretary of Panse Mandal, was a teacher like many Panse Mandal workers at that time. In the year 1988, he proposed and implemented the idea of ​​giving prizes to the students who pass the annual examination of the Panse family with good marks. For this purpose Panse Mandal created a separate fund named Gunwant Vidyarthi Pritoshik. He appealed to many Panse Mandals to strengthen this fund and today the fund has grown to full. For this purpose from time to time Jayant Digambar, Dinanath Ganesh, Vilas Pandurang, and many other Panse Mandals donate. Shri Jayant Dattatray, a former President of Panse Mandal contributes Rs.2500/- to this fund every year. Today Mitila awards are given to meritorious students in all faculties from class I to Vidyavachaspati i.e. Ph.D. Apart from this, meritorious Panse Mandali who have excelled in other arts such as drama, painting, dance, etc. are also honored on this occasion. A special feature of this annual meritorious student award program is that the sons and daughters of Mahervashini are also honored under this program. 

The academic year in India usually ends in the month of June and all the results are out by the end of September; Keeping this in mind, the Annual Meritorious Student Prize Distribution Committee invites applications for this year's prizes from students who have passed around this time. For this, applications are invited in the prescribed format by sending a letter by SMS or post by a certain date. The Annual Meritorious Student Prize Distribution Committee then scrutinizes and decides the grade-wise prizes and amount to be awarded. The winning students are requested to appear in person along with their parents giving an idea about one week before the event.

All other members are informed about the date and venue of the annual meritorious student prize distribution ceremony program through SMS or post. A famous and influential person from the Panse family usually presides over this event and gives four words of experience to the audience. After this, the program concludes with refreshments.
